I own a fairly new Canon Rebel T6 (around 2000 shutters)A few days ago, I got a new lens (Canon EF-S 24mm f2.8 STM) and I realized a purple light on the bottom right-side of all my pictures. I realized it because I was playing with long exposures in the dark. The purple light becomes stronger at longer exposures.I thought it was the new lens and put on my old lens (Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM) and saw the same purple light. To make sure no light was coming in, I had the lens cap on as well. I checked all my previous photos and realized this never happened until the new lens.Could someone tell me why this could be happening? and a possible fix? Thanks.Photos of purple light:At 20-30sec exposure (24mm): http://ift.tt/2xXL6QY: http://ift.tt/2vXHocM short exposure (24mm): http://ift.tt/2xXL7o0: http://ift.tt/2vZ3YSA lid short exposure(24mm): http://ift.tt/2xXL7V2: http://ift.tt/2vYEIf1 lid short exposure(28-135mm @ 28mm): http://ift.tt/2xXL8IA: http://ift.tt/2wifu6L via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2eP6iAz
