So I'm in college and I often take photos of my fraternities events. I took photos of our tailgate last Saturday. I let the guys in my fraternity use them to post on their Instagrams and whatnot. However, one of them submitted one of my photos to an Instagram account with just over 850k followers and they put it on their story. It was done without my consent and zero attribution/credit. The watermark on the photo was also cropped out. I messaged them on Instagram asking to give me credit or remove it. They saw my message and never responded. While the photo has deleted now as it was on a story I'm still mad that I was taken advantage of and I want to stand up for myself but don't know what to do. Has anyone else here had any similar experiences?Tldr: An Instagram account with 850k followers posted a photo of mine without my consent and they saw but didn't respond to my request to take it down. My message to them via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2eMJjFW
