Someone attempted to phish me today in the most in depth (still only half assed) attempt I have ever seen. Their webhost told me to contact the site owner regarding the phishing and ask them not to do it........................................

This is the most in depth phishing attempt I have ever seen.http://ift.tt/2gQaGzP person, owns the .com (claiming to be based out of Denver as well). Made a fake FB profile. Stole some images and probably mirrored them and edited them a bit. I nearly bit, until I caught the last bit at the end about giving the "travel agent" all the "excess funds" to book all of my travel for me.Ed (Wix Support) September 8, 2017 10:47:54 PM UTC Hi,I checked the site which you reported. He needed me to take the check and then pay for hair, makeup and models out of the excess!Any other phishing schemes you've seen targeting photogs?EDITAs of 7pm mst Wix has pulled the site. I guess the screenshot of the e-mail was enough for now? via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2wfAwmA
