Situation is as follows- promoter hired me to shoot an international Dj coming to town (2 years ago). was paid (local rate, $100 for the event) by the promoter.last week i posted a great photo of the dj on instagram and he reached out to the aforementioned promoter to use the photo in his EPK. promoter then reached out to me asking how i'd like to be credited.i said no credit was necessary but to give me his or his manager's email to send the invoice. promoter got all bent out of shape saying he'd already paid for the photos.am i out of line asking for extra compensation for futher usage of the photo?FWIW the invoice i sent back when i sent these photos over states:Unless otherwise stated on this invoice, the photos that this invoice covers are provided to you, the buyer, under "non-exclusive one-time use rights". Specifically, they may be used by your organization for one specified project (most likely social media promotion for an event, or completion of an event). For additional usage rights, please contact the photographer.Thoughts? Particularly looking for opinions from other nightlife photographers as i'm curious what you have done in similar situations.Conversation with said promoter (who also runs his own label)Am I out of line here?Blunt opinions welcome. via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2FZMdmG
