At-home developing 120N film

Hello,I'm pretty new to photography, and have just been messing around with a Holga 120N camera. I've taken a lot of pictures with it, but was surprised to find that the cost of actually developing the film is very expensive! So, I was hoping to do this at home. Will that work with a negative? My thinking was that I could save on the cost of scanning and printing them, and just pay for the lab to develop the film.Any recs for a good home scanning kit would be very much appreciated.
