Document Scanner (i.e. Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500) to digitize old prints

HiI have a created a similiar post at /r/paperless (Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500 or 1300i for my use case?) to my question:Basically I would like to digitize my families old print photographies and a lot of documents. The prints are not in great shape and I really just want them to have them digital. I currently own a HP OfficeJet Pro 6830 All-in-one for all my scanning and printing needs. But it takes too much time with the flatbed and the ADF is not great either if I put lots of documents in there. My question is: Would be something like the Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 be suitable for pictures as well? Would it even be an upgrade to my current scanner in terms of photographs? Thanks! via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2Me2bQP
