I think its pretty obvious that if we were to all look back at our photos, any of them, we'll all be pretty unhappy at some point with them. Be it a photo you just took 2 hours ago, a week ago, your first few photos, its bound to happen.I feel like alot of photographers don't give themselves enough of a pat on the back. Of course, we all want to put our best pictures that we took out there, and we will strive to get that 'perfection' even though we know we may never reach that 'perfection' we are all looking for. Perhaps, you should tell yourself, you did good, and good is good enough. That's the whole point about loving photography isn't it? That you have a piece of picture you can call your own, and be happy with what you got, right? Its okay if you didn't get the best sunset, the best pose, the sharpest photo, the best angle, if its saveable or workable in post, great, if not, then don't get too worked up over it, and if you have time to do again (assuming its a landscape, or a model/client willing enough to redo)Because if you always and only strive for perfection, and always critique your work heavily, you might just be really depressed and suffer a existential crisis, why you can never reach perfection, how come your work is never that level of 'perfection', why didn't it turn out how you wanted etc.Of course, with that said, you should still allow some level of constructive criticism, it helps you get better. Have a balanced mindset.Just relax, and enjoy it. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2MDBBNQ
