In a week, I'll be driving from Washington DC to Kansas. Where should I stop along the way to take photos and fly my drone for footage?

In one week (next Monday) I will be taking the following trip to drive from Washington DC to Wichita, Kansas. The only required stops will be in Nashville, TN and Springfield, MO. The rest is up to me.I would love to shoot some footage on the way home and get some amazing stock photos and video content and just to explore. I have no timeline, but I do only have a $1,000 roughly for the trip. I can stay in Nashville and Springfield for free (family/friends).Any sites or locations you guys recommend that's either roughly along the route or off it?
