Need to replace gear after everything was stolen...

So while I was in Seattle all my camera equipment was stolen as the title says. I was just getting my foot in the door with my first camera (Sony A6000) and a variety of lens and filters. My question is now that I’ve gotten some experience if I should replace it with something a little bit better. I have learned that I am horrible with the Rokinon 12mm but I really enjoyed the SEL 35mm. It was my go to lens no matter what I was shooting usually. From what I’ve been told the newer models of the Sony A6000 only have improvements to the video capabilities of the camera which I am not interested in. Is this true? If so I am looking for suggestions I suppose on whether or not to get the same camera and better lenses or go to another camera level. If you do suggest returning to the Sony A6000. What is a more user friendly wide angle lens that is affordable and does not use manual focus. I was recommended the Rokinon by many people and I could never grasp how to use it well (I have bad eye sight). Also is the SEL 35mm worth getting again or should I look to upgrade that as well.Thank you. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2M9s70P
