Recently I've found out about the Quartzline ND and Polarizing filters for DSLRs and plan to buy one (or two). However, I have one question that can't seem to find a clear answer for.Do the filters allow the installation of a lens cap?Note: I'm specifically using the threaded lens Cap of the "Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-5.6 Di II VC PZD Macro" lens. I currently don't have the lens or lens cap on me to provide photos. Sorry.Reasoning behind why I'm looking for this feature:I'm generally a hobbyist photographer and usually just take photos of my cat and landscapes when I go on trips. While on a trip, I'm very much like a tourist in terms of having little time to properly gets photos of everything I want. So generally speaking I kind of use my DSLR like a point and shoot camera (I stick to one lens, one filter, etc). Similar thing goes for cat photography. She's so spontaneous that I usually just pull the camera out of it's bag, remove the lens cap and start shooting. If I plan to introduce these filters into my photography work flow, then I would like to have the ability to mount a lens cap onto it so I can simply just pull out the camera and start shooting rather than taking the time to install and remove the filter everytime. Thanks in advanced - Alaska_01 via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2OYo0SN
