So i want to preface this here by saying, i am literally a bit of a hack. I learned to take photos 25 years ago on a loaner film camera. I like to do landscape stuff and now in the DLSR age, I have a Nikon with a good prime.I am super intrigued by the crystal ball shots and i think it could be an interesting step in my slow but constant learning. (I am not a pro, will never be a pro and I dont care. I take photos I like!)So it seems to be a huge trend right now. I just purchased a 70mm ball and I am going to take it out and try it. I have an after market Tamron 300 mm zoom lens I just bought with a macro setting. I just kind of like the idea myself. I personally think it is a challenge, because if you dont get everything just right, that picture is not going to turn out! In my mind, you want the image in the ball in focus, with the bokeh for the back ground. That will be a successful shot to me, but, before that I am going to experiment with my 35mm Nikor lens witch is my go too.Just curious what you folk's think about the trend and the work. Thanks! via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2vvjH9B
