Whats your JPEG + Raw workflow in LR?

I shoot in Raw, but for 90% of the time the out of camera JPEG would have been fine for my purposes. Maybe I should shoot Raw + JPEG and only edit the Raw when the need arises.When importing both file formats, if I select importing JPEG as sidecar files they seem to disappear, and if I don't LR will import both files separately, making them hard to manage.It would be great if LR can somehow process the Raw to look like the JPEG and then discard the JPEG file, or stack the two files with JPEG on top and apply any flags (rejected, selected, ratings etc) to both files.
