Wide Gamut Monitor, what do I need to know and are they worth it?

I'm using an old monitor from my gaming days at the moment and have been saving up for a wide gamut replacement with aRGB.The two I'm considering are the Benq SW2700PT and Dell UP2716D, as well as a calibration tool, I intend to use them for as long as possible so the additional cost isn't really a factor over a RGB only capable monitor.What I'm wondering is if this is overkill and how will it effect my workflow (Lightroom and Caprure One) having a calibrated monitor? Is there anything I need to know about that come with using aRGB?We regularly print photo's and create albums for ourselves. This is in a non-professional capacity, it's for our own pleasure and home and we want to have the best possible images.
