Looking for inspiration. How do you hike and have your gear be at the ready so you don't miss an amazing shot.I carry my camera with a Black rapid shoulder strap. When I'm not shooting I have it clipped to my belt so it doesn't bang into things as I walk. I also carry a small waxed canvas shoulder bag I picked up for cheap at a military surplus store to carry one to two different lenses. Usually a macro and a wide angle, and also filters and a cleaning cloth/supplies. Both lens are in their neoprene cases for added protection. This bag hangs off the opposite shoulder. When I get to rough terrain I throw everything in my backpack in case I lose my footing or have to scramble over some rock. The backpack also holds my tripod and other essentials.Lately, I've found I'm limited with this set up, as the canvas bag I picked up is barely big enough for the two lenses, and when I swap my prime lens off, the bag doesn't accommodate the prime and the other lensI like to have my lenses at the ready without having to take my backpack off. I'm curious to see what functional gear you use...Here are he neoprene cases I use:(4 Pack) Altura Photo Thick Protective Neoprene Pouch Set for DSLR Camera Lens (Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic) - Includes: Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large Pouches https://ift.tt/2NEUIGW I'm thinking of buying this but I wear xxl shirts.
