Shooting Aurora Borealis

Hi All; I've got an opportunity to visit the north of Finland in the Lapland in March. The goal of the trip is to dogsled and see some aurora.Looking for any tips and tricks you may have used in gathering successful shots of the aurora, as well as to care for my gear, and for not getting frostbitten :).Also looking for tips on which gear to take to minimize my load. Planning on schlepping the following:Bodies; Canon 5d Mark ii, Canon 7d (backup)Lenses; Canon 24-70 2.8, Canon 50mm 1.4 prime, Canon 70-200 2.8 (may not bring). (Should I rent/borrow a wide-angle prime (like a 20mm?)Slik 50 tripod, tethered remote, 4 batteries, spare lens caps/lens covers, etc.Thank you. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2zYJB7a
