One thing I noticed when doing photography and video as a hobby is that no matter what I did I was always comparing myself to people way more successful than me and feeling like I never could create something that was as good as theirs. As a way to curb that behaviour I decided to try to recreate a photo that I took when I was really new to the hobby and apply the things that I learned to make it a better image. I'm still nowhere near being a professional but it was nice to be able to see a visible improvement.Have you ever tried doing this? What type of results did you get?
