My husband and I know zero about photography, but we would like to start picking it up as a hobby and learning more about photography along the way. We're not looking to do anything professionally, we'll mostly just take pictures of our kids and record/vlog our travels for memories. We want to invest into something that would be lightweight to travel with, easy to work with (i.e. not having too many functions that would go to waste because we would never use it), and long-lasting.We're looking at buying either the Sony a6400 and Canon G7X. Of course we don't understand anything looking at the specs right now, those two are just the most recommended when we looked at various photography sites. Our question is, which one is worth the money?Thanks!!!Edit: should I even consider the Sony a6000? Is the Sony a6400 a big big upgrade from it?
