Buying first mirrorless camera. Sony A6600 good or any other recommendations?

I currently have a Nikon D3400 from like 2015 that I basically learned photography on, and it's time for an upgrade.My wishlist: body alone is under $1500, good lense choices, completely silent shooting mode (some mirrorless don't have this), good battery life.For the A6600, I've heard some people say that it's good if you're buying it without having the A6500 already (ie it's not worth the upgrade but it's worth buying it if you don't have a camera) but I've heard bad things too.
