Fireworks advice for a photography newbie?

I picked up a camera about 2 weeks ago to try a new hobbie and im really enjoying myself!Tonight im going to a big fireworks display and id like to take some pictures but im a bit unsure on how to get the best results.I know people dont generally want to see other peoples fireworks pictures, thats not why i want to try it, its more for my own practice than anything else. Im assuming im going to want wider aperture and fast shutter speed? Ive been shooting in manual since day one so i can actually learn stuff.I have two eos m cameras with the 18-55mm kit lens and i also have the ef-m 22mm prime lens, what should i use tonight? Thanks :)(I dont own a tripod unfortunately) via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2Nxc515
