Today when I met people I would ask them if I could snap some photos and I ended up directing them. “That’s right. You’re gorgeous. You’re a natural. You're making the red in the picture pop!” It made me feel good to make others feel good.I met an old couple for instance and they wore cute matching pink shirts against a brown background. I asked if I could take their photo and they said yes. It felt great making them feel empowered and beautiful as the people they are as I shot them in multiple poses. A friend of theirs saw and said,"you want to take photos of him?" But they're all such beautiful people. Every single one of my subjects.I met a man and I saw him get out of his car. I told him he looked really cool when he got out and that I wanted to take a photo of that. I could tell that puffed his ego a bit.Not only does photography make you more empathetic towards other people but it teaches to be more engaging and social, to conquer that fear of socializing.I could do this every day. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2LX1hqI
