/r/photography is frequented by a variety of knowledgeable and talented photographers. Several times a month we will bring you an AMA from someone from within our community and industry we're interested in profiling.Wednesday September 9th: Albert Dros /u/cryptodesignAlbert is known for his extreme passion for landscape photography, always wanting to plan unique shots. Volcanos, Solar Eclipses, he's done it all. He has been published by some of the biggest media channels in the world including; Time, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, National Geographic. Next to photography he also specialises in design, motion graphics, video, audio, basically everything that has anything to do with media as he also holds a Masters Degree in Multimedia & Entertainment technology.Website | Instagram | YoutubeWednesday September 16th: Mike Olbinski /u/mikeolbinskiMike is an Emmy-winning, professional storm chasing photographer, who also dabbles in weddings and family portraiture during the off-season. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona and still calls it home, along with his wife and three amazing children who often join him on the hunt for weather. What began as an early passion for photographing lightning, his path morphed into a desire to get into time-lapse photography, which led to capturing a historic dust storm over Phoenix in 2011, and then a stunning supercell in Texas in 2013. He started making short time-lapse films from his adventures chasing supercells and tornadoes, as well as the monsoon in Arizona. His work has been used in feature films like Thor 2 and Geostorm, licensed by such clients as ESPN, National Geographic, Microsoft, Lamborghini, Netflix, Ford, State Farm, Allstate and seen in commercials, documentaries, movies, and much more. He runs storm chasing workshops and tours during the spring and summer. When he's not chasing, he's usually playing Call of Duty, watching shows on Netflix or hanging with his family.
