Being a novice I always find my trips with the intent of wildlife photography a bit lack luster.Either they lack focus or I just failed to find a good location after spending $$. This was particularly true of my Amazon experiences. My next one is Canada. Obviously Canada has abundant wildlife. But I'm still at a loss for where to go. They have wildlife reserves national parks remote mountain ranges with innuit guides ice floes etc.Lots of opportunities most of which are prohibited by the cost. Not everyone can drop 7k for a week in the remote mountains tracking bears. So what I'm settling for is ideally shooting wintery game. Elk, big horn sheep, etc. Wolves are a bonus. The shots I want are serene natural habitats / actions with winter backdrop focusing on majestic nature of wildlife in remote areas. Those types of compositions. What is preferable is being able to setup hang and have the time needed to either track wildlife down or compose shots properly. I'm not looking to be thrown on another tourist bus.I've had plenty of those. This would indicate to me I should likely be looking at the national parks rather than more touristic reserves. This is logistically difficult to my understanding in the Canadian winter. But no idea. Never shot in Canada before. So throw your suggestions at me please. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/37EJEDL
