I need help with personal library management and freeing up my storage.

Hey guys, I'm sort of a noob when it comes to library management on a Mac. I'm currently using a MacBook Pro atm and I'm super stressed about freeing up my storage.I've started shooting more RAW images and constantly import them to my laptop after every shoot. I always import to the 'horrible' Photos App, and recently I noticed that when I import, Photoshop creates like a sort of clone RAW file of my imported images. Every time I delete a RAW image from the Photos App, I see that the photoshop RAW image file is still in my library. How do I stop this?If there are any programs where I can import and manage my stuff better, like exporting to Lightroom or Photoshop from that program itself, and deleting files more easily.
