Wanting to get into the world of photography!

Okay, I understand you may get this question a lot (And I mean, a lot), so I apologise.I want to get into Photography a bit more than I currently am, I'm looking at purchasing my first proper camera - For... well, forever... I've been using my phone. Constantly filling it up with pictures taken on every adventure, big or small, mostly consisting of landscapes, scenery or people close to me. Basically anything interesting, I'm sure someone can relate. With my new job, i'm lucky to be located near a nature reserve, local river and lakes. The water features are owned/managed by a fishing club, so they're kept up nicely while not looking too inhabited. It's good to take walks down during my lunch break, nothing wrong with fresh air and a walk, might as well include my love for taking pictures. I feel I'd benefit from a decent starting camera.I was looking at a Nikon D3500, ideally with the kit lense. I don't want to go too expensive, but people have said good things about it and the VR kit lense so I may see if I can nab one second hand. Has anyone used this camera? How are you experiences with it? Would it be worth it as a first camera?I know this will come with some learning, getting used to the settings and adjustments to get the best pictures in the right scenarios, so if any of you have any links to some legitimate and trustworthy guides I'd be happy to know! Thanks all! via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2HjdT8L
