Hey friends of r/photography! We’re currently looking for a couple new users to join our moderation team. You would be helping out mod both r/photography and our sister photo sharing sub, r/photographs.As it is, we could use an extra set of hands in some key time zones, such as in the UK/Europe and the West of the Americas. But, we’re open to help in other time zones, as well.What are the responsibilities of an r/photography and r/photographs mod?Watching for and removing spam.Removing rule-breaking posts, and directing users to the appropriate place.Checking and responding to ModMail.Monitoring reports from users.Monitoring for and removing harassing comments and personal attacks of users.Checking the modlog for obvious spam, and banning spam bots and accounts.Participating in the mod’s only Slack chat to keep up to date with goings-on in the sub.
