How do I get into wedding photography?

I’ve been a part time photographer for 5 years now, but never done weddings/engagement that sort of thing. It seems daunting but idek how to even get into it... do I just offer someone free/cover-the-travel-costs-price for the first time so I don’t fuck up?I know my way around cameras, lenses, people (I’ve shot events maybe 2-3 times a year, the rest is interior photography, and of course filmmaking/editing which is my main forte).It’s mainly the scope and scheduling I have no fucking clue about.. how many individual events are there in a wedding? Ceremony, party? How and when?
