eBay experience..

Hello, just looking for advice/sharing my experience with buy a camera off eBay.I bought a Fuji XT20 body off eBay, long story short, ordered it on July 9th and still have not received it. I ordered it from FOTOPRO, based out of Germany it seems.After two weeks of the package not moving (via tracking info) I opened a request with eBay, this is the first time I've ever had to do this. The seller reassured me it was stuck in customs and with COVID things were moving slow. Before anyone says something like "wEll u ShOuLD hAVe eSCalATeD thE rEquESt.." I live on a tiny island in the Caribbean, mail takes a long ass time to get here so I always give it the benefit of the doubt.. but not two fucking months. Anyway, I figure I'll wait another week to see if it comes, it doesn't. I talked with the seller again, they reassured me again it was on the way and sti with DHL. I wait.. and decide to call DHL. They tell me it's with USPS, so I call USPS. They tell me that they never received the package. I'm frustrated, so I go back to eBay but my request expired.. Today I opened up a pay pal INR request and I'm waiting.. all over again.So frustrated, been an awful summer between the heat, family medical emergencies, and COVID. I feel burned and stupid, never ordering off eBay again for big purchases. I'm afraid I won't get my money back which is a bummer because I needed that camera for work, it was an investment. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/33nsNVP
