Based on my observations of real estate listings, this is how you should take pictures of houses you're trying to sell in order to fit in with all the other realtors/amateur photographers out there:Just use your phone! Who wants to carry around that heavy DSLR? You don't need a fisheye lens, just squish yourself into a corner and snap an off-kilter shot with your greasy iPhone 7.Jack up the brightness on indoor photos! This makes everything seem more open and clean, and hides all the little blemishes you didn't bother getting fixed.Crank that HDR on outdoor photos! If it doesn't look like the house is radioactive, you're doing it wrong.Do not take close-ups of anything, ever! Especially stuff people would actually want to see.Mix it up! Photos in a logical order, where anyone can reasonably tell which room they're in at any given time, are so boring.Keep them guessing! Don't take too many photos -- leave something for the imagination. Five different pictures is plenty. That said, feel free to leave in any duplicate photos to make it seem like you took a bunch.And that's it!
