Recently I had my very first photo shoot with a professional model, it was great experience, but she recommended to create an Instagram account if I want to network within the industry.My account lasted maybe few days...First of all, when uploading pictures you actually have to put them in frames, otherwise they get cropped into squares... I learned that hard way after making my first post which received some likes before I realized that none of the pics look as they should.Second - UI/UX experience is abysmal. Each time when I want to look up profile of a person who posted a nice pic, I end up in some video bullshit zone that has nothing to do with photography. I still don't remember how I managed to get to some user profiles, I think it was luck.Third and not less important, after posting I was reaching out to my phone every few minutes just to see how many new likes I get, it was only few days, but it got exhausting really fast. I could totally see myself getting addicted to it.Last point obviously applies to Reddit and upvotes too, but I feel like I can live without Reddit for days or weeks and not really miss it much as long as I got other things to do.Any ideas for alternative solutions? via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2VJTd4g
