I'm not sure if I like doing photography or just people's reactions to my photographs.

To preface this, I understand that being happy that others appreciate your work is ultimately a goal for every photographer. In my case, however, I feel like I thrive only when people appreciate my work rather than enjoying the process of taking photographs.I'd appreciate it if someone has some advice on overcoming this or choosing to do what makes me happy.
