I have a 750D which I use for some work purposes, taking images of products that are usually around the size of a wallet, which the stock/kit lens works great for with my small photo booth. I'm not a pro photographer by any means, I've just self-taught a few things.I now have a new project where I need to take pictures of much smaller items, the size of your fingernail for example. I have tried to look into macro lens options as I believe a macro lens will allow clearer, sharper images of these items, but I'm finding it a bit of a minefield.From my research, I don't think a prime lens would be good for me as the slight flexibility of the zoom might come in handy. In reality, I essentially want a kit-style lens that can get a bit closer or take better pictures of small things.Any suggestions for an affordable lens option would be really appreciated.
