Concrete things about lighting

To improve myself, I've read a lot. And the composition and lighting are very important aspects in photography. Most of the articles that I read, I get some concrete tips/tricks that I can apply. The composition is more vague and abstract than others, but I still learn something concrete: like rule of thirds, leading line, symmetry, etc. However, for lighting, I've read a lot about it, but it seems I don't retain anything concrete......they all say....get a good light, lighting is important, and so on. Concretely, what should I do about the lighting ? The only thing I learn is: golden hour. What would be your best tip/trick about light that you could give to me ? The more concrete, the better.Thank you. via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2wyka9M
