I decided to have one of my photos printed on canvas this week and was blown away by the quality prompting me to post a "humble brag" on social media. To my surprise, I have a couple people interested in buying my work!!I'm struggling with pricing, my original intent was to price my work very high (I already have a steady income, so it's not like I'm trying to be competitive with other sellers) thinking that would allow me to mark up my on location/event prices.I'm curious how others arrive to their pricing.I know the costs of printing, but what else should I be accounting for? (should I incorporate my equipment costs? Travel costs?)What about exclusivity? Is it common to limit the number of prints for sale to demand a higher price? Or would I be better served with a flat rate regardless of the number sold?I realize this is subjective and not one person will have the same answer, but I'm hoping to hear some insights from those currently selling and what they considered when they priced their work. via /r/photography http://ift.tt/2hOj7iH
