[Technique] I read a while ago that you can make a collection of images pop by focusing on a single colour, but it helped me focus for the day instead.

In one of my old photography magazines they'd often create challenges or provide ideas for your next photography project. I finally heeded the advice that focusing on a single colour whilst doing a street shoot can make a series of images really stand out. This makes perfect sense but what I didn't expect was that focusing on one colour (red in my case) really helped me tune in to my surroundings. I found myself getting great shots and quickly moving on to the next thing. Usually when street shooting I find myself wondering around aimlessly, hoping to capture something unique.I just thought I'd share this with you guys because it helped me and I'll be doing it again. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2OElSic
