So I have a single Bowens 500DX strobe light (without a manual) and I'm trying to get it sync up with my camera (Canon 5D mark iv).I'm trying to use the photocell mode to detect the flash from an on-camera speedlite (470EX-AI), it works for triggering the strobe but the picture is being taken too late or too early and it doesn't catch the strobe flash in the image.Any tips at all would be greatly appreciated.Do you think this is worth trying to figure out or should I just get a phono to PC sync cable?Thanks in advance! via /r/photography https://ift.tt/32kPpFC
