I’ve been asked to shoot a friends birth, what do I need to know?

Hello, I’ve been working in photography and film for a bit over five years now and now an esteemed friend in the culture scene of my country, someone who’s helped me a lot with my career, has asked me to photograph the birth of her child.I’ve asked for no payment for this - what I do wonder is if you have any tips on what lighting to use or not use?
