Money for photos

I recently went to a muscle car event, where they had a burnout pad, I took some really good photos, but noticed that the media team had front row seats, so I emailed one of the organizers, and asked if I could join the media team next year, they responded by asking for some sample pics, so I sent a few. He then responded by saying I could be on the media team, and would I mind if he sent one of my photos to a magazine, to which I responded “sure, go ahead” My main question is, if my photo does end up in this magazine am I entitled to money? And if I am, how do I go about getting the money?
