Hi,So I’ve recently gotten a Nikon RF camera, point and shoot I think. It’s 35mm, and f/3.5. I’m using coloured film, ISO 400. It’s a pretty vintage camera, 70s maybe.I’ve done one test run, and I found that it’s better on this camera to take photos outside or in natural light. I also found that it’s not a good idea to use flash indoors with the lights on when I did, the lighting hue reflected on the entire photo. So I took a picture in a room with a warm tone light and the subject face went really yellow. The flash also really ups the contrast which I’m not that fond of so I think I’ll try to stray away from flash.I’ve got a few questions about 35mm film cameras in general. So some of the photos I took didn’t focus on the subject faces at all and were all hazy.• Should I stand further away / whats a good distance to stand from the subject to gain focus?• Should I wait a while until shooting to get focus?• Does flash always up the contrast lots?• When should I be using flash? Afraid to get too dark photos but also afraid of the intense contrast. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2HrADmU
