Tony Northrop tells a story in one of his videos of a photographer who bought an entry-level crop camera an L Glass lens. The lens was un-sharp, so he sent both the lens and body in for repair. But the problem persisted. Then L lens was literally less sharp than his kit lens! Eventually, he discovered that it was become his lens was meant for a full frame body.Does anyone else have experience with this sort of thing? Does this really happen? It doesn’t sound believable.
