I posted a polite but honest comment on a Reddit user’s photo and got insulted.

On the subreddit r/earthporn, I saw a photo on the top that had the sky completely in pure white. I said in the comments, “The blown out highlights are distracting.” The OP insulted me about a photo I posted one time in r/photocritique. The OP DM’d me asking to see my portfolio. I gave the OP my website address. He said, “Thanks for the laugh.” I reported and block the user. It’s obvious that the user thought it was okay to insult those who disagreed. He/she clearly hates criticism. Most people like my photos. I previously sold cards with my work. Every once in a while, I sold a print. When people critique your photos, never insult them. Say thanks. If you run into trolls online, block them. Don’t start arguments. via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2IObXFO
