Exposure difference in camara screen and laptop

Hello /r/PhotographyI am a semi noob when it comes to photography, and have a question. When i go out shooting i have no second reference on the exposure of my photo's so i use my screen on the camera (Canon 1200D). When i look trough my sight (idk what to call it in English) i am mostly trying to get the exposure on neutral, so the 0 moentioned on the bar. However when i do this the outcome of the photos look really overexposed so i mostly try to get the number on the exposure bar down to -0,5. But when i get home and i place my photos on the laptop they are quite dark.My question is now: Which reference should i use, a laptop/PC or the camera body screen? The 0 on the camera bar which gives overexposed images on the camera screen or a bit under that?Hope someone has some advice on this :D via /r/photography https://ift.tt/2J3N4o5
